Contest & Raffle Rules

Eligibility

• Entry is free. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• Contests and the raffle are open to registered event attendees.
• Winners (or a member of their registered family) must be present at the event when winners are announced to claim a prize.

Scavenger hunt

• The hunt is made up of checkpoints: codes hidden around the lot that you scan or enter in the app, and photo challenges where you upload a photo of your family completing the challenge.
• Photo challenges are reviewed by RMFA staff — the checkpoint counts (and points are awarded) once your photo is approved.
• Each checkpoint is worth points.
• Find every checkpoint and you earn a bonus raffle entry on top of the entries you collect along the way.
• Staff have the final say on photo approvals and may reject photos that don't match the challenge or that are spam (uploading photos just to upload photos).
• Prizes are tiered by the points you earn.

Costume contest photos

• Photos must be family-friendly. This is a PG event — anything gory, frightening to young kids, or otherwise inappropriate will not be published.
• Every submitted photo is reviewed by the event team before it appears in the app.
• Attendees can report any photo in the app. Reported photos are re-reviewed and removed if they don't meet these rules.
• You can delete your own entry in the app, or email us to have it removed.

Trunk voting

• There are two trunk categories: Best Trunk and Funniest Trunk.
• Each registered family gets one vote per category — one for Best Trunk and one for Funniest Trunk.
• You can change either vote in the app as many times as you like until voting closes.
• The trunks with the most votes when voting closes win. Winners may be awarded per event section, so each phase of the night can have its own winning trunks.

Raffle

• Families earn raffle entries at the event — for checking in, completing scavenger hunt checkpoints (including approved photo challenges), finding every checkpoint, and voting.
• The drawing takes place during the event; the time is announced in the app and at the event.
• Winners are announced in the app and on site. Prizes must be claimed before the event ends; unclaimed prizes may be redrawn.
